What is the length of the study period?

24 months. It starts from 1 October and ends after two years on 30 September. A grace period of 15 days where students may finish the studies without payment of the tuition fees for the next semester could be possible.

What do I need to do if I must extend the study period?

Registration:
The Erasmus Mundus grant will be available for a study period of two years, only. Anyway, students are allowed to extend the study period but they must be registered in the EMCL program. Consequently, they must pay the tuition and social fees at the beginning of the current semester.

Students who enrolled in 2004 and 2005 and who do not finish their studies by September 30, 2008 must pay the tuition fees and the social fees to TUD for each additional semester.

Health Insurance:
The EC health insurance coverage is assured for three months after the end of the Erasmus Mundus Master Course (i. e. until 31 December).

What is the procedure to get the double diploma?

Students who successfully finished the EMCL-program must present the transcript degree from the second hosting university to the first university and apply for the second diploma. The first hosting institution will automatically issue the diploma.
